Parishioners prepare and deliver home-cooked meals to people who are facing challenging circumstances.

There are many in our community who require that most basic staple - food.  Our volunteers are compassionate people who understand that preserving the dignity of each individual is as important as the food they help provide.  Our Lady Queen of Martyrs offers several coordinated efforts to assist in this important mission.

Meals for FriendsDiners, Drivers, and Delight!  Seniors and those quarantined will be thrilled when they receive a dinner from one of our local food establishments, generously paid for and arranged by parishioners who donate to this very important ministry.  We have many seniors and those effected by the pandemic that require meals.  To keep safe for all, the meals are ordered from local food establishments and then delivered and left at the homes of the folks in need with no contact.

Share-a-Meal - This program offers a delicious meal and conversation with the teens who prepare the meal.  Volunteer adult parishioners gather together with teens once a month to prepare meals for homebound or ill parishioners.  Parents and the teens then deliver these meals and connect with these seniors through conversation at their homes.
